This document explains how to extend the Pepperdata dashboard by adding:
- Custom program monitoring
- Extended JMX metrics
When you add custom program monitoring and/or extended JMX metrics, the Pepperdata dashboard provides an integrated, consolidated view of the health, status, and resource usage of standard big data jobs and any other program that you want to monitor, along with details of any JMX metrics that programs make available.
