Choose Your Installing Pepperdata Procedure

There are several “flavors” of the installation procedures. Choose the first step of the procedure for your environment and installation framework.

• Parcel. Installing Pepperdata (Parcel)—For installation on a Cloudera Manager-managed cluster, with a Parcel package for Pepperdata.

• Amazon EMR. Quick Installation Steps—For installation in an Amazon EMR environment.

• Cloud. Detailed Installation Guide—For installation in a Hadoop as a Service environment, such as Amazon EMR or Google Dataproc.

• RPM/DEB. Installing Pepperdata (RPM/DEB)—For package manager installations on any Hadoop distro, with an RPM or DEB package for Pepperdata.

• Kubernetes. Installing or Upgrading Pepperdata (Kubernetes)—For Pepperdata installations in Kubernetes environments.
