Choose Your Adding Apache® Impala Query Metrics Procedure

There are several “flavors” of the configuration procedures in the Administrator’s Guide. Choose the procedure for your environment and installation framework.

• Parcel. Adding Apache® Impala Query Metrics (Parcel)—For configuring a Cloudera Manager-managed cluster, with Pepperdata installed from a Parcel.

• RPM/DEB. Adding Apache® Impala Query Metrics (RPM/DEB)—For configuring a cluster on any Hadoop distro, with Pepperdata installed from an RPM or DEB package.
