Choose Your Configure SSL Near Real-Time Monitoring on Ports 50510 and 50505 Procedure

There are several “flavors” of the configuration procedures in the Administrator’s Guide. Choose the procedure for your environment and installation framework.

• Parcel. Configure SSL Near Real-Time Monitoring on Ports 50510 and 50505 (Parcel)—For configuring a Cloudera Manager-managed cluster, with Pepperdata installed from a Parcel.

• Cloud. Configure SSL Near Real-Time Monitoring on Ports 50510 and 50505 (Cloud)—For configuring a cluster in a Hadoop as a Service environment, such as Amazon EMR or Google Dataproc.

• RPM/DEB. Configure SSL Near Real-Time Monitoring on Ports 50510 and 50505 (RPM/DEB)—For configuring a cluster on any Hadoop distro, with Pepperdata installed from an RPM or DEB package.
