Choose Your Configure Query Spotlight Procedure

There are several “flavors” of the Configure Query Spotlight procedure. Choose the one that corresponds to your environment’s installation framework.

• Configure Query Spotlight (Parcel)—For installation on a Cloudera Manager-managed cluster, with a Parcel package for Pepperdata.

• Configure Query Spotlight (Cloud)—For installation in a Hadoop as a Service environment, such as Amazon EMR or Google Dataproc.

• Configure Query Spotlight (RPM/DEB)—For package manager installations on any Hadoop distro, with an RPM or DEB package for Pepperdata.
